HOW TO: ACHIEVE KICK-ASS VALENTINE’S DATE STYLE

Men's graphic tee shirt arteecollage grey v-neck tattoo
“An Arteecollage Valentine’s Day”, by Kirsten Ferguson

If you’ve somehow managed to forget that Valentine’s Day is just around the corner then where have you been? Already most shops have a huge banner in the window or fake roses at the till by now! I think this is the worst time of year, not for the singletons, but for the guys who have the pressure of taking a girl out. Not only have they got to choose what to do and where to go but also what to wear. Thankfully Arteecollage, and their cool graphic tee shirts, is on hand to help!

The Arteecollage Tattoo V-neck T-Shirt is a good place to start. Not only is it comfortable but theretro style t-shirt also features a unique, hand-drawn print from artist Paul Engeris – adding an interesting dynamic to the look. Although you want to be comfortable, you don’t want to look too casual. To prevent any risk of this, add a black blazer from H&M to the style. At a rather reasonable price of £29.99 as it’s really more of an investment piece and staple for your wardrobe essentials. Having one button done-up or leaving the blazer open keeps the look smart casual, without it being too formal.

The next step is these ace Monkee Classic Skinny Jeans from Topman that are more casual than suit trousers but the dark blue keeps them smarter than your every day wear. Although £60 is quite steep, similar to the blazer, the classic design of the jeans mean they will be an investment that can be worn again and again!

Finally, these brogues from ASOS with leather soles complete the dapper look. The suede leather makes them a little more special than your average brogue and together with the rest of the outfit, will get your date off to a great start!

Happy wooing, chaps!

TODAY I’M WEARING: CASUAL OUTFIT OF THE WEEK

womens modal t-shirt top

“Casual dressing with Arteecollage Modal Tops“, by Kirsten Ferguson.
I started my final semester of university on Monday and am now faced with the dreaded dissertation. And with the imminent agonising over hours stuck in the library and fidgeting until I can piece together a sentence, I need to be comfortable. But whilst spending all-nighters reading books and bashing at my keyboard, I still need to be stylish – you never know who you’ll bump into!

Today I’ve chosen this Arteecollage Asymmetric Modal top in grey. I can always rely on Arteecollagefor chic, classic garments and the modal fabric is so comfortable and easy to wear. You can tell by looking at the fabric that it is high quality and looks much more luxurious than your typical basic wardrobe essentials. Despite all this detail, the grey modal top is in the Arteecollage sale for only £9! The quality makes the top practical to wear casually during the day at university, or for a more casual trip to the bar post dissertation writing!

I paired this Arteecollage Asymmetric top with Topshop MOTO Indigo Leigh skinny jeans. These are the comfiest jeans I have tried in a long time and are perfect for a day of sitting whilst writing. I prefer jeans to leggings in this winter weather as they keep me far warmer. As the Arteecollage modal top is quite simple, I added a twined cord pink necklace from H&M for a touch of colour and sparkle.  On my feet I have pink ballet pumps from River Island for £16 which ties in with the pink necklace.

For a practical way to carry my books I used my grey tote bag from New Look which I thought was great value at just £15. To finish off my outfit, today I’m also wearing a russet brown cardigan from Phix and layered it under my duffel coat because it was minus four degrees this morning! Yowzer.

You can follow Arteecollage on Facebook and Twitter.

There is also only one week left to enter the Arteecollage draw to win £100 of clothing:https://www.facebook.com/Arteecollage/app_180899202052024

Enjoy the rest of your week.

GUEST BLOGGER: “BOY TALK”

‘Boy Talk’, by Kirsten Ferguson

Since hitting the sales and not really racking for anything in particular, I’ve found myself browsing in the men’s clothing sections.  One of my favourite hoodies is one I bought last year from the men’s range at H&M and was actually cheaper than a similar one in the women’s section! Arteecollage have an amazing sale on everything (both womenswear and menswear) so I don’t need to worry about price when I’m having a nosey around.

Surprisingly the men’s t-shirts really appealed to me. The King Eagle V t-shirt particularly caught my eye with its cool, hand-drawn print. You can imagine how happy I was when I discovered this modal t-shirt is the ‘Deal of the day’ on the Arteecollage website for £8.50 (usually £30) until the 14th of January!

The printed tee shirt comes in a slim fit so I bought it in a large to achieve that baggy boyfriend look. Like many Arteecollage garments, it’s made with soft modal fabric, meaning you can be urban chic whilst being utterly comfortable!

For a casual look, I pair this deep v-neck tee with some black sawyer leather panel leggings from Missguided. The fitted appearance of the leggings contrasts well with the loose fit of the men’s graphic t-shirt, giving the look a feminine touch. I talked about creating a capsule wardrobe in my last post and I think leggings can be added to this as it can be worn with so many different garments.

To keep warm in our typical, rubbish British January weather, I layer-up with the H&M hoody I mentioned above. Not only is it really soft but adds a splash of colour to the outfit and at £14.99, it won’t break the bank!

This look is super comfy and easy to wear, which calls for some equally comfortable footwear. These Nike Hally Hoop trainers are simple but cool so they won’t clash with the panel leggings. I spotted these ones in Office but there is such a large collection from Nike that you could mix and match different colours and styles to suit your personality.

Finishing off the look, I’ve opted for this red Columbia Beanie Hat, £18, which is available online. The bold hue works wonders to complete this laid-back, off-duty look and definitely adds to the cosy factor!

So, next time you’re browsing the Arteecollage website, don’t forget to check out the men’s sectionand raid your boyfriend’s wardrobe for inspiration on how to complete this look with ease and panache.

SALE STEALS: ARTEECOLLAGE OFFERINGS

Mixing things up this week, for her debut post, our new resident blogger Jude divulges about her Arteecollage experiences. See how she wears our array of wardrobe essentials and explore her SALE  finds as inspiration for your next look – all in time for la weekend too!

“Sale Steals: Arteecollage Offerings, by Jude Duncan”

So if you haven’t heard of Arteecollage clothing then where the heck have you been? Since discovering this beaut of an online brand a few months back, I’ve been obsessing over their naturally soft wardrobe essentials, as well as their printed tees that look cool oversized.

Usually I’m prone to keeping hidden gems like these to myself to avoid turning up to an event in the same top or dress, however with their whopping 75% off sale, which launched yesterday, I had to share their urban chic offers with y’all.

Priced from a mere £3.99 for women’s urban basics, and £7.50 for boyfriend tees, check out their exclusive deals here:  http://www.arteecollage.com/, and on the Amazon Outlet.

One of my favourite products has to be the Arteecollage Woman’s crew modal top. It’s a classic top with a short-sleeved design and available in blue, red and black. The lusciously soft t-shirt is an elegant must have piece for every woman’s wardrobe, and being made from natural elements is an added bonus too!

For me, I prefer dressing this woman’s Modal Top with these Office heels, American Apparel disco pants and a cool, black sheer chiffon shirt (above). But, for an alternative look, wear this basic top with one of this year’s big high street trends – printed leggings!

Whatever you splash your Christmas dollar on this January, I’d make it an Arteecollage Woman’s modal top. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
